China will further promote integrated and high-quality development of Beijing's sub-center and neighboring areas, according to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
国家发展改革委近日表示，我国将推动北京城市副中心与周边区域一体化高质量发展。
To promote the coordinated high-quality development of Beijing's sub-center in Tongzhou District and the neighboring Sanhe City, Xianghe County and Dachang Hui Autonomous County in Hebei Province, is a key task in promoting the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.推动北京市通州区与河北省三河、大厂、香河三县市一体化高质量发展是“十四五”推进京津冀协同发展的一项重点工作。
An NDRC senior official said it will help guarantee Beijing's capital functions, resolve urban ills, support the construction of Beijing's sub-center, improve Beijing's spatial layout and economic structure, and stimulate the development of surrounding areas.
国家发展改革委负责同志表示，这将有利于加强对首都功能的服务保障，有效治理北京“大城市病”；有利于支持北京城市副中心建设，优化北京城市空间布局和经济结构，加快打造区域发展新高地。
The official highlighted major tasks in five areas, including coordinated pollution control, infrastructure connectivity, industrial coordination, public service sharing, and reform and innovation.

A live video streaming host who illegally bought a great white shark — an animal under national protection — and posted a video cooking it last year, was fined 125,000 yuan ($18,427), authorities in Southwest China's Sichuan province said on Sunday.
据四川省相关部门29日发布的消息，2022年一名网络主播非法购买国家重点保护野生动物大白鲨（又名“噬人鲨”）并发布一则烹食鲨鱼的视频，有关部门依法对其处罚12.5万元。
An investigation found the host surnamed Jin spent 7,700 yuan to buy the shark via Taobao, a major online shopping site, last April, according to the market supervision bureau in Nanchong of Sichuan.
据四川南充市市场监督管理局，经查，涉案当事人金某某，2022年4月通过淘宝网，以7700元人民币的价格购得鲨鱼一条。
Jin cooked and ate the shark, and posted video doing so to video-sharing platforms Kuaishou and Douyin, the bureau said in a news release, adding the video went viral quickly and topped the trend charts of both social networks.
